Carin Ludeña
Carin is a mathematician, statistician, and data scientist who worked for many years as a university professor doing research on mathematical statistics, statistical learning, spatial statistics as well as graph and text analytics. Moreover, she acted as statistical advisor for an Election Monitoring ONG, a community (social and environmental) risk assessment project and lately in a large scale education monitoring process in Venezuela. As a data scientist, she advised and consulted in many projects ranging from statistical and mathematical models in oil production, to text analytics for automatic economic activity classification. Her current position, as data science leader in Matrix CPM, involves designing, developing and implementing solutions based on data and statistical/mathematical models, working hand in hand with data engineers.
